Service Oriented Architecture

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has for quiet some time now been a 'Horizon model' for Enterprise for achieving the vision of bridging gaps between Propositions, Requirements, Architecture, Development, Operations and benefits. SOA advances as much complex challenges for the implementation, as the number of promises it holds out for a layered, changeable, structured, componentized and governable Business-IT architecture.

The foremost of these challenges is in 'multiplexing' the Services based implementation with a transformation of the associated legacy architecture to SOA. Thus classic SOA based Enterprise projects are closely aligned to ITIL/ITSM initiatives for Re-discovering Technology assets, Re-engineering and mapping to Business objectives.
